Data Quality Monitoring Engineer

What you'll do

• Execute data quality and engineering initiatives to ensure organizational standards are met.
• Conduct data quality assessments and implement formal quality control processes.
• Develop data models using standard elements to detect and prevent database defects.
• Maintain accuracy of data dictionaries and metadata by identifying missing values or anomalies.
• Engineer automated monitoring systems to flag data quality problems in real time.
• Monitor active data streams to identify issues and perform necessary corrective actions.
• Perform root-cause analysis to resolve identified data inconsistencies and errors.

What we're looking for

• Must be a United States citizen.
• Must possess an active Top Secret clearance with the ability to obtain TS/SCI.
• Must have a BA/BS degree or 4+ years of related experience.
• Proficiency in relational databases, metadata management, data engineering, and data modeling (preferred: Erwin Data Modeler).
• Ability to perform data quality analysis using ServiceNow, Microsoft Access, and Power BI.
• Experience developing data dictionaries and enforcing data standards, policies, and procedures.
• Familiarity with metadata management, data governance principles, and root-cause analysis for data issues.
• US Citizenship.
