Data Engineer As a Data Engineer, you will join the team to build the foundational data infrastructure necessary for high-fidelity simulations in the space domain. You will be responsible for designing, building, and deploying scalable data pipelines that ingest disparate, multi-domain, and multi-classification data sources to transform them into clean, structured schemas. This work supports a multidisciplinary team of exercise planners and systems architects by providing the underlying data required for mission-critical models. What you'll do

Design and build scalable data pipelines to ingest multi-domain and multi-classification data sources.
Transform disparate raw data into clean, structured schemas for modeling and simulation environments.
Develop the foundational data infrastructure required for high-fidelity space operations simulations.
Manage database systems including schema design and data normalization.
Integrate data pipelines using various APIs to ensure seamless data flow.
Support multi-disciplinary teams by providing high-quality data for analysis and mission-critical models.

What we're looking for

TS/SCI clearance is required.
Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Data Engineering, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a STEM field.
Experience with object-oriented programming languages such as Python, Java, C++, or C#.
Knowledge of database systems, designing data schemas, and data normalization.
Knowledge of ETL and ELT data pipelines.
Experience using APIs to integrate data pipelines is preferred.
Experience with Palantir Foundry is preferred.
Knowledge of modeling and simulation software, space operations, or orbital mechanics is preferred.
