Data Engineer As a Data Engineer, you will join a multi-disciplinary team of analysts, developers, and data consumers in an agile environment to build advanced technology solutions for mission-driven projects including fraud detection, cancer research, and national intelligence. What you'll do

Develop and deploy pipelines and platforms to organize disparate data into meaningful insights.
Design, build, and maintain scalable data applications at an enterprise scale.
Create software for retrieving, parsing, and processing both structured and unstructured data.
Build scalable ETL and ELT workflows to support reporting and analytics.
Develop scripts and programs to convert various data types into usable formats.
Monitor and operate large-scale data platforms to ensure consistent performance.
Manage the assessment and design of technical solutions for mission-driven projects.

What we're looking for

5+ years of experience in application development.
5+ years of experience designing, developing, operationalizing and maintaining complex data applications at enterprise scale.
3+ years of experience creating software for retrieving, parsing and processing structured and unstructured data.
3+ years of experience building scalable ETL and ELT workflows for reporting and analytics.
Ability to develop scripts and programs for converting data into usable formats and support the operation of data platforms.
TS/SCI clearance is required.
Bachelor’s degree or 7+ years of experience in data engineering in lieu of degree.
Experience with Maven Smart System, Palantir Foundry, Python, SQL, Scala, Java, UNIX, Linux, cloud platforms, distributed tools, and NoSQL (preferred).
