Data Center Technician, Data Center Operations

What you'll do

• Install, remove, and maintain hardware assets within a 24/7 data center environment.
• Establish and support network connectivity for internal systems and infrastructure.
• Securely handle storage media and troubleshoot physical hardware issues.
• Perform diagnostics and apply firmware updates to resolve hardware and software problems.
• Execute the planning and implementation of data center infrastructure projects.
• Document technical tasks and maintain accurate records of equipment status.
• Identify and mitigate risks that could impact business services or customer experience.

What we're looking for

• Experience in roles involving hands-on technical support, help desk, logistics, or training in computer engineering or a related IT field.
• Ability to safely work at heights using step ladders, podium platforms, and people lifts while following safety protocols.
• Ability to safely use hand-held tools such as electric drills, safety cutters, and fiber testing kits.
• Ability to work extended shifts in high-heat environments ranging from 79°F to over 105°F.
• Ability to participate in rotational on-call duties for after-hours support in a 24/7 environment.
• Minimum of 1 year experience directly supporting IT hardware infrastructure and working inside a production data center (preferred).
• Technical certifications such as CompTIA A+ or Network+ (preferred).
• Experience with network connectivity tasks, hardware component swaps, operating systems, or productivity applications (preferred).
