Critical Facilities Operations Center Operator, Data Center Operations

What you'll do

• Monitor and manipulate critical systems including electrical power, building management, fire safety, and facility networks.
• Identify critical events and lead the incident management process by executing emergency operating procedures.
• Perform daily rounds and data-driven analysis to identify and address infrastructure issues.
• Manage all communications and disseminate information to stakeholders during normal operations and incidents.
• Implement change requests for planned work and manage break/fix tickets in the maintenance system.
• Coordinate with vendors and contractors to ensure accurate check-ins, performance evaluation, and issue escalation.
• Maintain accurate logs and reports to ensure compliance with applicable safety and operational standards.

What we're looking for

• Must have 2+ years of experience with EPMS, BMS, and/or FLS control systems.
• Must have 1–3 years of experience in critical facilities, data centers, industrial plants, mission-critical operations centers, or specific military technical ratings.
• Experience with maintenance management tools such as CMMS or similar is required.
• Experience or exposure to mechanical, electrical, and fire life safety systems is required.
• Must be physically able to sit, stand, bend, stoop, push, pull, and lift up to 75 lbs.
• Must be able to work in varying temperatures (60°F to 110°F) and follow OSHA work-rest cycles.
• Must have the flexibility to work 12-hour shifts, including graveyard, weekends, holidays, and overtime.
• Preferred qualifications include 4+ years of mission-critical experience, ability to interpret one-line/P&ID diagrams, and knowledge of NFPA 70E/70B.
