Site Services Manager, Data Center Operations

What you'll do

• Supervise and lead a team of data center technicians to ensure service uptime.
• Oversee the installation, repair, maintenance, and decommissioning of network, storage, and compute assets.
• Partner with planning teams to manage installation forecasts and IT cabinet builds.
• Monitor and report on site space and power consumption metrics.
• Coordinate with facility managers to ensure consistent environment uptime.
• Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to improve processes and resolve issues.
• Maintain service availability while simultaneously installing new capacity.
• Track key performance indicators and define team goals for operational efficiency.

What we're looking for

• Experience managing or leading employees and/or a contingent workforce in a data center or equivalent environment.
• Experience working in an IT environment in areas of installation, delivery, or operations management.
• Experience working with servers, storage hardware, or network hardware.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience (preferred).
• Understanding of data center power and cooling principles (preferred).
• Strategic problem solver who understands how different functions within a data center intersect (preferred).
• Ability to inspire, coach, train, and develop personnel, managers, and individual contributors (preferred).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to tailor messages to various audiences (preferred).
