What you'll do

  • Manage the full lifecycle of design activities for new build and retrofit data center projects.
  • Review consultant design packages for alignment with OCI standards and technical requirements.
  • Develop and track project design schedules and deliverables.
  • Support technical due diligence for lease and greenfield opportunities.
  • Identify design risks and escalate issues to senior design leads for resolution.
  • Provide QA/QC on design submissions to ensure compliance with documentation standards.
  • Maintain internal design templates, standards, and technical documentation.

What we're looking for

  • Bachelor’s degree in architecture, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
  • PE or RA license (preferred).
  • 4+ years of experience supporting design for data centers or mission-critical facilities.
  • Working knowledge of MEP systems and infrastructure planning for large-scale technical buildings.
  • Familiarity with design documentation phases (BOD, SD, DD, IFC) and permitting processes.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Bluebeam, and CAD or BIM platforms like Revit.
  • Understanding of applicable codes, industry standards (ASHRAE, Uptime), and design best practices.
