Data Analytics Developer, AVP - Credit and Insurance

What you'll do

• Analyze, design, implement, test, and deploy scalable data-driven analytics tools for the Credit & Insurance platform.
• Use data science, statistics, and computer programming to build portfolio risk management systems.
• Transform unstructured and unclean data into organized formats suitable for advanced data science applications.
• Develop interactive dashboards and applications using Business Intelligence software like Sigma and Tableau.
• Build a clean and scalable codebase using Python and SQL to power analytical models.
• Implement and extend core system architecture and data warehouses using Snowflake and AWS.
• Identify alpha in complex credit and structured security markets through engineering and data science techniques.
• Design core data analytics models with a focus on reusability, processing performance, and accuracy.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in a STEM domain such as Engineering, Computer Science, or Data Science.
• 3+ years of experience in a data analytics or data science role.
• Proficiency in Python and SQL to build clean, scalable code bases for analytical models.
• Expertise in database architecture design, performance optimization, and designing optimal data structures for financial datasets.
• Experience with business intelligence tools such as Sigma and Tableau to build complex visualization platforms.
• Familiarity with big data techniques and cloud technologies including Snowflake and Amazon Web Services (AWS).
• Knowledge of math and statistics to implement financial simulation models and understand risk methodologies.
• Preferred experience in fixed income investment strategies and web development using React, TypeScript, and Terraform.
