Front-office Senior Software Engineer, VP - Liquid Credit will join the Liquid Credit Technology team to develop modern fixed-income asset management systems, including portfolio, order, execution, and trade processing systems. The candidate will work within a cloud-hosted containerized environment using a technology stack that includes Angular, React, Fast API, Python, C#, Terraform, SQL, AWS ECS, AWS Lambda, AWS SNS/SQS, Snowflake, and CI/CD tools like Jenkins and GitLab Runners. This position focuses on solving technical challenges for portfolio managers and traders within the fixed-income domain, specifically supporting assets such as bank loans, high yield bonds, CDS/CDX, Futures, Repo, and various debt and equity tranches.

What you'll do

  • Build scalable, reliable, and secure applications using cloud-native technologies and services.
  • Develop and integrate web applications, microservices, and data pipelines across multiple platforms.
  • Write automated unit, integration, and deployment tests to ensure high code quality.
  • Deploy application code in various environments using standard CI/CD tooling like Jenkins and GitLab Runners.
  • Lead technical design sessions, conduct code reviews, and troubleshoot software defects.
  • Automate repetitive tasks and provide technical support for the Liquid Credit team.
  • Mentor and train junior developers while contributing to a collaborative team culture.

What we're looking for

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of proven software engineering experience in a relevant industry.
  • Proficiency in C# and/or Python, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
  • Experience with relational and/or NoSQL databases and cloud technologies, preferably AWS.
  • Experience as a hands-on tech lead collaborating with business, product, and design teams.
  • Expertise in RESTful API design, scalable microservice architectures, and object-oriented programming.
  • Experience with automation testing, performance testing, and CI/CD tooling like Jenkins or GitLab Runners.
  • Experience with fixed-income front-office trading systems.
