JOB TITLE: Front-office Senior Software Engineer, VP - Liquid Credit The Front-office Senior Software Engineer, VP - Liquid Credit joins the Liquid Credit Technology team to develop modern fixed-income asset management systems. This role involves building and supporting web applications, microservices, and data pipelines for portfolio managers and traders. The engineer will lead technical designs, conduct code reviews, and manage technical requirements using JIRA. Key responsibilities include writing automated unit, integration, and deployment tests while utilizing CI/CD tooling. The technical stack includes Angular, React, Fast API, Python, C#, Terraform, SQL, AWS ECS, AWS Lambda, AWS SNS/SQS, Jenkins, Gitlab Runners, and Snowflake. The work focuses on solving complex problems within the Liquid Credit Strategies business, specifically managing diversified fixed-income investments such as bank loans, high yield bonds, CDS/CDX, Futures, Repo, CMBS/RMBS, and CLO debt.

What you'll do

  • Build and integrate scalable web applications, microservices, and data pipelines using cloud-native technologies.
  • Develop software solutions for portfolio managers and traders within fixed-income asset management systems.
  • Write automated unit, integration, and deployment tests to ensure high code quality.
  • Utilize CI/CD tooling like Jenkins and GitLab Runners to build and deploy application code across environments.
  • Lead technical design, conduct code reviews, and troubleshoot software defects within an Agile framework.
  • Own technical requirements, scope definition, and the creation of technical JIRA tasks.
  • Mentor and train junior developers while providing technical support and automating repetitive tasks.

What we're looking for

  • Bachelor's degree (BSc/BA) or above in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of proven software engineering experience in a relevant industry.
  • Proficiency in C# and/or Python, JavaScript, Typescript, and databases (relational and/or NoSQL).
  • Proficiency in cloud technologies, preferably AWS.
  • Experience as a hands-on tech lead collaborating with business, product, and UX teams.
  • Experience with RESTful API design, scalable microservice architectures, and object-oriented programming.
  • Experience with fixed-income front-office trading systems.
  • Experience with AI tools for development and integration (preferred).
