Cybersecurity Remediation Engineer

What you'll do

• Identify root causes of security incidents and implement technical fixes to prevent recurrence.
• Partner with engineering teams to embed security practices into existing infrastructure and products.
• Conduct security risk assessments, threat modeling, and targeted technical reviews of systems.
• Create technical documentation for remediation guidance and security best practices.
• Develop or implement tools to support the detection and analysis of security threats.
• Apply security principles to ensure data confidentiality, integrity, and system availability.
• Leverage AI tools to accelerate triage and provide automated remediation recommendations.

What we're looking for

• Experience conducting security reviews and translating findings into actionable engineering guidance.
• Experience applying and maintaining secure configurations across systems, networks, or applications.
• Knowledge of vulnerability management, common attack patterns, and mitigation techniques like OWASP Top 10 and MITRE ATT&CK.
• Ability to leverage AI tools to accelerate triage, remediation recommendations, and incident response.
• Experience with security engineering or adjacent roles such as networking, infrastructure, cloud, or application development (preferred).
• Experience supporting incident response or post-incident remediation (preferred).
• Experience with cloud platforms, CI/CD pipelines, containerization, Kubernetes, automation, and AI to reduce MTTR (preferred).
• Bachelor's Degree.
