The DevOps Intern joins the engineering team to build, automate, deploy, and maintain scalable infrastructure and software delivery pipelines for enterprise-class applications and services. Required technical skills include Kubernetes or OpenShift administration, proficiency with Terraform, Ansible, Git, and Linux, along with scripting in Python or Bash. Candidates should also possess experience with Azure, AWS, or IBM Cloud, knowledge of Prometheus and Grafana, and an understanding of DevSecOps, security automation, compliance controls, and cyber-resilience solutions for highly available systems.

What you'll do

Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate software build, testing, and deployment processes.
Manage and deploy infrastructure across cloud and on-premises environments using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform and Ansible.
Maintain the reliability, scalability, and availability of development, staging, and production environments.
Implement monitoring, alerting, and observability solutions using tools such as Prometheus and Grafana.
Troubleshoot infrastructure, application, and deployment issues to ensure system stability.
Perform root cause analysis for production incidents and participate in active incident response.
Identify and execute opportunities to reduce manual effort through automation across the software development lifecycle.

What we're looking for

High School Diploma or GED.
Bachelor's Degree (preferred).
Experience in DevOps or Platform Engineering.
Kubernetes and OpenShift administration skills.
Proficiency with Terraform, Ansible, Git, and Linux.
Scripting experience with Python and/or Bash.
Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
Knowledge of cloud platforms, monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana), and DevSecOps practices.
