What you'll do

  • Design cybersecurity capabilities to meet Navy requirements and address evolving threats.
  • Conduct cybersecurity threat analyses and risk assessments for mission-critical systems.
  • Translate government security controls into clear, verifiable system requirements.
  • Maintain requirements traceability throughout the entire engineering lifecycle.
  • Develop and review systems engineering and accreditation documentation.
  • Support Authorization and Accreditation activities with customers and stakeholders.
  • Communicate technical findings, risks, and recommendations to both technical and nontechnical audiences.

What we're looking for

  • U.S. citizenship is required.
  • A Department of Defense Secret security clearance is preferred at time of hire.
  • Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering or a related field with 2 years of experience, or a Master's degree with 6 months of experience.
  • Experience in systems engineering principles and lifecycle practices.
  • Proficiency in developing, managing, and tracing system requirements.
  • Familiarity with security controls such as access control, auditing, network security, intrusion prevention, or encryption.
  • Knowledge of frameworks including ICD 503, NIST SP 800-53, JSIG, or the DoD 8500 series.
  • Strong technical writing skills and experience in threat analysis, risk assessment, or accreditation support.
