The Cyber Systems Engineer - Level 3 - Space AHT joins the Ground-Based Midcourse Defense (GMD) Ground Weapon System program within the GWS Network and Infrastructure Team. What you'll do

Design and develop classified networks for government customers using cybersecurity best practices across all OSI model layers.
Install, configure, and troubleshoot networking equipment while implementing security measures for infrastructure.
Document and verify all installation and configuration steps to ensure compliance and accuracy.
Collaborate with software developers and vendors to diagnose and identify root causes of problems during system integration.
Submit problem reports using Agile processes and coordinate daily activities with cross-functional product teams.
Provide technical redlines to engineers and provide feedback to leadership regarding project progress.
Document lessons learned, best security engineering practices, and industry standards in daily tasks.
Develop and install OS/automation for specific product teams and support lab connectivity for testing.

What we're looking for

Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field with 5 years of cyber systems experience or a Master’s degree in a STEM field with 3 years of experience.
Active DoD Secret security clearance required.
Must possess a current DoD 8140/8570 certification, such as Security+ CE.
Experience on large-scale missile defense system programs.
Excellent written and communication skills are required.
Experience with Agile software development methodologies, object-oriented architecture, software integration, and testing.
Perform development and installation of OS/automation for GWS Product Teams (preferred).
Support planning and integration of HCIL and other RGW Lab connectivity and testing to support program PBMs (preferred).
