JOB TITLE: Cyber Software Test Engineer - Level 2 (26-381) The Cyber Software Test Engineer - Level 2 (26-381) joins the Missile Defense Integration team to support the Command and Control, Battle Management, and Communications program. This role is essential for developing and testing systems that enable strategic planning and monitoring of ballistic missile defense operations. The engineer will perform software development in Java, C++, and Python to support the User Interface product suite. Key responsibilities include designing and building an automated testing framework, comprehending test requirements, and developing test scripts in Python. The position requires proficiency with Git, GitLab, Confluence, and JIRA. Candidates should also possess knowledge of Eclipse, VS Code, Maven, Gradle, ClearCase, Jenkins, PyAutoGUI, and Tesseract, with experience in Selenium for web application testing.

What you'll do

Develop software using Java, C++, and Python for the C2BMC User Interface.
Design and build an automated testing framework for the C2BMC UI product suite.
Interpret and test complex software requirements to ensure system functionality.
Develop automated test scripts specifically using the Python programming language.
Utilize Git and GitLab for version control and source code management.
Manage software development tasks using industry tools like Confluence and JIRA.
Perform automated testing to verify and demonstrate missile defense system capabilities.

What we're looking for

Must have a Bachelor’s degree in a related field with 2 years of experience, a Master’s degree, or 6 years of relevant work experience.
Must possess a current, active Government-issued Secret security clearance at the time of application.
Must be a U.S. Citizen.
Must have experience in software engineering and Python programming.
Must have experience in software development using Java and C++.
Must have fundamental knowledge of Git and GitLab.
Must have knowledge of common software development and management tools including Confluence and JIRA.
Must have an active Government-Issued 8140 certification at IAT Level II or higher (preferred).
