CVP Software Infrastructure and Forward Deployed Engineering

What you'll do

• Manage the internal developer platform, including tooling, CI/CD pipelines, and workflows for the software organization.
• Optimize engineer productivity and workload management against GPU capacity and compute utilization.
• Establish non-punitive metrics to drive efficiency in how the team consumes hardware resources.
• Build and lead the Forward Deployed Engineering function to deploy and optimize AMD software with customers.
• Translate field intelligence and customer challenges into prioritized engineering roadmaps.
• Convert high-touch customer engagements into repeatable patterns, reference architectures, and scalable tools.
• Manage high-stakes technical crises and coordinate executive communication during critical system failures.

What we're looking for

• A BS, MS, or equivalent degree with direct experience.
• Demonstrated track record leading high-impact technical teams in environments like Cloud Infrastructure, AI Platform, or HPC (preferred).
• Understanding of the technology stack from the metal up (preferred).
• Deep understanding of commercial drivers such as ARR, Churn, and Margin (preferred).
• Ability to articulate how technical solutions impact deal velocity and business outcomes (preferred).
• Experience managing high-stakes crisis incidents and executive communication (preferred).
