Principal Forward Deployment Engineer

What you'll do

• Set the technical direction for agentic AI delivery across all Forward Deployment Engineering domains.
• Establish architectural approaches and determine which problems are suitable for agentic AI solutions.
• Build and maintain shared technical foundations and components to accelerate team development.
• Write and review production code while solving the most complex technical challenges encountered by the practice.
• Generalize successful domain-specific solutions into reusable components for the broader team.
• Review architecture and code across domains to calibrate technical standards and hiring bars.
• Integrate data handling, privacy, and security practices into all delivered solutions.
• Advise leadership on delivery capacity and provide early warnings on projects with low expected ROI.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Science, or a related technical field.
• Master’s Degree (preferred).
• 7-10+ years of production engineering experience.
• 3+ years of experience deploying LLM-based systems in production.
• 2+ years of experience delivering agentic or multi-agent systems.
• Demonstrated experience setting technical direction, defining standards, and guiding the architecture of other engineers.
• Proficiency in production Python engineering and knowledge of Go, TypeScript, or Java.
• Authorized to work in the United States Travel: Travel.
