Critical Facilities Operations Center Operator, Data Center Operations

What you'll do

• Monitor and manipulate electrical power, building management, fire safety, and generator systems.
• Identify critical events and lead the incident management process using Emergency Operating Procedures.
• Perform daily rounds and readings to verify the health of building monitoring systems.
• Manage all FOC communications and disseminate information to stakeholders during normal operations and incidents.
• Implement Change Requests for planned work and manage break/fix tickets in the maintenance system.
• Coordinate with vendors and contractors regarding check-ins, performance evaluations, and issue escalations.
• Maintain accurate logs and reports to ensure compliance with applicable standards.
• Provide status updates on outstanding issues during shift turnover meetings and daily staff meetings.

What we're looking for

• 2+ years of experience with EPMS, BMS, and/or FLS control systems.
• 1–3 years of experience in critical facilities, data centers, industrial plants, mission-critical operations centers, or military technical ratings.
• Experience with maintenance management tools such as CMMS or similar.
• Experience or exposure to mechanical, electrical, and fire life safety systems.
• Physical ability to sit, stand, bend, stoop, push, pull, and lift up to 75 lbs.
• Ability to work in varying temperatures (60°F to 110°F) and follow OSHA work-rest cycles.
• Flexibility to work 12-hour shifts including graveyard, weekends, holidays, and overtime.
• 4+ years of related experience in a mission critical environment (preferred); ability to analyze complex failure scenarios and interpret diagrams (preferred).
