As a CPU Physical Electrical Analysis Engineer, you will join the hardware team to drive block and top-level design of power-grid and analysis of high performance compute blocks within the EMIR, SIGEM, and Reliability space. Your daily responsibilities involve driving electrical verification closure, managing power grid construction and implementation using existing infrastructures or creating custom solutions in PNR tool environments. You will collaborate multi-functionally with CAD/EDA vendors, methodology teams, implementation teams, and SoC level teams to ensure analysis fidelity and meet IP delivery quality. The role requires expertise in PNR design implementation and STA. Technical requirements include knowledge of computer architecture, RISC pipelines, and experience with tools like Siemens, Ansys Redhawk, Seascape, or Cadence Voltus. You should possess skills in C/C++, TCL-based automation, and data analysis using Python, Perl, matplotlib, or pandas.

What you'll do

Drive block and top-level EMIR and electrical verification closure.
Design, construct, and implement power grids using PNR tool environments.
Develop custom solutions within the PNR environment when necessary.
Verify analysis results by working with CAD/EDA vendors.
Collaborate with methodology teams to address unique use cases.
Drive design and sign-off closure with implementation teams.
Ensure IP delivery quality and schedule requirements are met at the SoC level.

What we're looking for

Minimum of a Bachelor's degree and 10+ years of relevant industry experience.
Experience with PNR design implementation and STA.
Knowledge of computer architecture and RISC pipelines for compute-oriented blocks like GPU, Neural networks, or CPU.
Ability to write and maintain scripts in TCL, Python, or Perl.
Proficiency in TCL-based automation with PNR and STA tools.
Experience with data analysis techniques using Python or Perl and libraries like matplotlib or pandas.
Familiarity with industry standard tools such as Siemens, Ansys Redhawk, Seascape, or Cadence Voltus.
Working knowledge of C/C++.
