CPU Design Verification Engineer

As a CPU Design Verification Engineer, you will join a high-visibility chip design team where you own the verification of specific functional areas within a CPU design. You will collaborate closely with architecture and RTL designers to ensure functional correctness while developing comprehensive test plans and environments. Your daily responsibilities include creating tests in assembly, C, or vectors, as well as building coverage monitors and analyzing results to ensure full test plan coverage. To achieve these goals, you will develop checkers and SystemVerilog or C-based transactors. The role requires expertise in CPU architecture, digital logic design, microarchitecture, and advanced verification techniques. You must be proficient in C/C++ and SystemVerilog while possessing the skills to write and debug tests for complex hardware blocks within a sophisticated chip architecture environment.
