CPU Design Verification Engineer

As a CPU Design Verification Engineer, you will join the hardware team to own the verification of specific functional areas within a CPU design. You will collaborate closely with architecture and RTL designers to ensure functional correctness while developing comprehensive test plans and environments. Your daily responsibilities include creating tests in assembly, C, or vectors, as well as developing coverage monitors and analyzing results to ensure full plan coverage. To achieve these goals, you will build checkers and SystemVerilog or C-based transactors. The role requires expertise in CPU architecture, digital logic design, chip architecture, and microarchitecture. You must possess programming skills in C/C++ or SystemVerilog to develop testbenches and debug tests. This position focuses on the technical challenge of verifying complex processor components to ensure high-quality hardware functionality before production.
