CPU Design Verification Engineer

As a CPU Design Verification Engineer, you will join a high-visibility chip design team where you own the verification of specific functional areas within a CPU design. You will collaborate closely with architecture and RTL designers to ensure functional correctness while developing comprehensive test plans and environments. Your daily responsibilities include creating tests in assembly, C, or vectors, building coverage monitors to analyze test case coverage, and developing checkers using SystemVerilog or C-based transactors. The role requires expertise in CPU architecture, digital logic design, chip architecture, and microarchitecture. You will utilize programming skills in C/C++ and SystemVerilog to verify complex designs. This position focuses on the technical challenge of verifying intricate processor components to ensure functional reliability before products reach customers, requiring a deep understanding of advanced verification techniques and potential post-silicon bringup experience.
