Corp. VP Customer Engineering Data Center GPU serves as a senior executive leader within the Data Center GPU organization to lead the Customer Success function. This role involves building and scaling Account Success Teams that act as the engineering nerve center for strategic Instinct GPU accounts. The individual will manage end-to-end customer experience, including pre-sales engagement, validation, deployment, and production sustainment across Tier 1 and Tier 2/3 enterprise and hyperscaler customers. Key responsibilities include overseeing technical escalations, influencing product roadmap strategy based on field learnings, and coordinating with Platform Engineering and Software teams to ensure successful large-scale deployments. The role requires expertise in GPU architecture, HPC workloads, distributed AI training, and systems-level integration of hardware, firmware, and software stacks like ROCm to solve complex infrastructure challenges for high-scale data center environments.
Build and scale the Account Success Teams as the primary engineering nerve center for major Instinct customer accounts.
Manage the end-to-end customer experience including readiness, validation, deployment, and long-term operations for strategic GPU accounts.
Act as the senior technical executive to resolve escalations and shape deployment architecture with customer leadership.
Operate within the Customer Control Tower model to align resources across platform, software, and engineering domains.
Drive measurable acceleration of customer deployment timelines by tracking key engineering health metrics and performance dashboards.
Influence product roadmap strategy based on direct feedback and learnings from field engagements.
Recruit, develop, and retain a high-performing organization of world-class customer engineering talent.
Align cross-functional teams across software, business development, and operations to ensure fulfillment of customer commitments.
What we're looking for
Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctorate degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
Prior experience at a hyperscaler or AI infrastructure company in a customer-facing engineering leadership role.
Familiarity with large-scale Instinct/HPC cluster deployment and distributed AI training at scale.
Track record of influencing product roadmap strategy based on customer field learnings.
Prior VP or CVP-level experience leading Customer, Field, or Solutions Engineering organizations at a semiconductor, AI accelerator, or hyperscaler company (preferred).
Deep technical expertise in GPU architecture, HPC/AI workloads, and systems-level integration (preferred).
Demonstrated track record of executive-level engagement with hyperscaler, cloud, and enterprise customers on complex deployment programs (preferred).
Proven ability to build and scale Customer Engineering or Account Success organizations in a high-growth environment (preferred).
