The Controls Critical Facilities Engineer, Data Center Operations joins the Infrastructure Services team within the Information Systems and Technology organization. This role focuses on implementing building technology solutions to support site functionality, including building automation, power monitoring, sustainability, environmental systems, and life safety systems. The engineer will manage solutions for building management by translating enterprise IT and InfoSec requirements while analyzing metrics to articulate data trends. Key responsibilities include assessing processes for efficiency, configuring individual controls within BMS and EPMS environments, and managing systems for mechanical, electrical, server, and virtual components. Required skills include experience with control system software such as PLC, Siemens, JCI, or Schneider, along with knowledge of virtual machine concepts and engineering tools like AutoCAD and Revit.

What we're looking for
Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or equivalent vocational achievements and practical experience.
5+ years of experience with control system software and tools, such as PLC, Siemens, JCI, or Schneider.
Solid understanding of virtual machine (VM) concepts.
Ability to manage and optimize control systems for mechanical, electrical, server, and virtual components.
Master's Degree or equivalent experience in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a closely related field (preferred).
7+ years of hands-on field experience (preferred).
Experience in designing, implementing, and maintaining control systems (preferred).
Advanced proficiency in engineering software tools, including AutoCAD and Revit (preferred).
