Control Systems Engineer

What you'll do

• Apply various control technologies including AC/DC motion control, digital and analog systems, and PID control for manufacturing.
• Develop HMI interfaces and manage data acquisition systems to support roofing granule production.
• Perform system integration and commissioning of industrial automation equipment.
• Provide in-plant technical support to engineering staff to resolve controls issues and implement improvements.
• Coordinate with Information Technology teams to manage local and remote IT support activities.
• Manage capital project work activities in coordination with Project Engineering resources.
• Oversee change management processes and ensure compliance with corporate procedures.
• Participate in plant safety, environmental health, and Six Sigma Lean improvement initiatives.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (completed and verified prior to start).
• Five years of experience with PLC programming, HMI development, industrial controls, and automation systems.
• Master's degree in Electrical/Electronic, Control, or Systems Engineering (preferred).
• Project management experience (preferred).
• Ability to troubleshoot electrical systems and components (preferred).
• Demonstrated experience managing 3rd party contractors and vendors (preferred).
• Experience with Wonderware software, Schneider PLC programming, or mining equipment (preferred).
