Consulting Technical Director, Enterprise Architect

What you'll do

• Lead tactical architecture design for enterprise health IT environments including EHR, HIE, and cloud systems.
• Develop and govern technical architectures that align with federal standards for interoperability and security.
• Assess current-state environments to define future-state roadmaps, system blueprints, and modernization strategies.
• Translate business and clinical objectives into actionable architecture patterns, standards, and decision recommendations.
• Lead architecture reviews and technical design forums to de-risk delivery and ensure consistent implementation.
• Maintain comprehensive architecture documentation, including reference models, connectivity submissions, and governance artifacts.
• Advise senior stakeholders on modernization trade-offs, technical dependencies, and investment planning.
• Resolve complex customer escalations by providing domain leadership on end-to-end enterprise solutions.

What we're looking for

• Must have a Bachelor's degree and at least 8 years of enterprise architecture experience.
• Must have experience supporting federal, healthcare, or large enterprise technology environments.
• Must have experience designing enterprise architecture for EHR systems, HIE platforms, and health data exchange.
• Must have experience creating architecture roadmaps, system blueprints, technical design documentation, and governance artifacts.
• Must have experience leading technical design reviews and advising senior stakeholders on architecture trade-offs and modernization strategies.
• Must be a US Citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain a government security clearance.
• Must be able to travel up to 25% of the time.
• Previous Federal Architecture experience is preferred.
