Consultant, Software Engineer

What you'll do

• Apply secure software and systems engineering practices to protect data and technology from threats.
• Mentor and train team members on design techniques, tools, and coding standards.
• Provide strategic technical advice to align technology usage with business goals and strategy.
• Manage the development, testing, debugging, and deployment of complex software solutions.
• Champion DevSecOps practices and tooling to improve security, automation, and delivery efficiency.
• Oversee the design and support of secure APIs and Event Streams.
• Manage multiple project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables across various teams.

What we're looking for

• Six or more years of programming, software engineering, or systems analysis experience.
• Proficiency in one or more programming languages such as Java, C++, Python, and JavaScript.
• Experience with full stack development including Java/Springboot and Angular.
• Experience with Microservices, REST APIs, and tools like Apigee, Kong, or Amazon API Gateway.
• Experience building applications that interact with Kafka and managing Docker containers via Kubernetes.
• Experience with Cloud Native applications in AWS or Azure and CI/CD pipeline enablement.
• Undergraduate studies in computer science, management information systems, mathematics, or a related field (preferred).
• Three years of experience in project management (preferred).
