What you'll do

Own the product strategy for the streaming analytics engine including storage, materialization, query serving, and performance.
Develop a competitive strategy to position the platform as a superior alternative to standalone real-time analytical databases.
Manage technical trade-offs regarding consistency, latency, query performance, cost, and developer experience.
Partner with engineering teams to navigate the complexities of building cloud-native data systems at scale.
Collaborate with downstream product managers to ensure the engine supports AI, analytics, and application integrations.
Validate use cases with customers and design partners to refine go-to-market positioning and developer experience.
Define success metrics, cost models, and pricing strategies for new product areas.
Communicate technical strategy and influence company-wide platform goals through executive-level leadership.

What we're looking for

Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
Master's degree (preferred).
8+ years of experience in product management or related technical roles.
5+ years of experience taking technical infrastructure or data products from conception to launch.
Deep familiarity with real-time analytics, database internals, or streaming data platform architecture.
Experience defining and launching products in the data infrastructure, analytics database, or stream processing space.
Track record of leading cross-functional initiatives with executive-level visibility and communicating technical strategy to senior leadership.
Engineering background in analytical databases, stream processing, or distributed storage systems (preferred).
