What you'll do

Perform system administration for Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) environments.
Troubleshoot software, system, and network issues effectively.
Execute scripts and commands at the command line level using Bash, PowerShell, or Python.
Integrate COTS, GOTS, and custom software within security-constrained environments.
Automate system tasks using tools such as Ansible.
Manage and administer VMware vSphere 7.x or higher environments.
Implement STIGs and track non-compliance on Plan of Action & Milestones (POA&M).
Generate procedures to test system functionality.

What we're looking for

Must have an active Secret Clearance.
Must be a U.S. citizen.
Must possess a current DoD 8570 IAT Level II Certification (e.g., Security+).
For Level 2: 2 years experience with a Bachelor's, or 0 years with a Master's, or 4 additional years in lieu of a degree.
For Level 3: 5 years experience with a Bachelor's, 3 years with a Master's, or 1 year with a PhD.
Experience in Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) system administration.
Ability to script at the command line level using Bash, PowerCLI, PowerShell, or Python.
Basic understanding of software development phases and experience in Agile/DevOps environments.
Understanding of networking including subnets, routing, and VLANs.
Experience with automation tools like Ansible (preferred).
Experience with VMware vSphere 7.x or higher (preferred).
Experience integrating COTS, GOTS, and custom software in security-constrained environments (preferred).
Experience with Air & Missile Defense programs such as IBCS, PATRIOT, SENTINEL, C2BMC, THAAD, or Link 16 (preferred).
Additional Operating System Environment Certifications like MCSA, MCSE, Linux+, Net+, CCNA, or RHCSA (preferred).
