Principal Computer Systems Architect

What you'll do

• Review and analyze technical requirements to incorporate them into end-to-end system architectures.
• Advise on the integration of emerging industry technologies into program systems.
• Complete network configurations while coordinating with peers, subject matter experts, and government engineers.
• Implement engineering changes to systems as required by project needs.
• Work directly with engineers and technicians within a lab environment.
• Mentor junior engineers and share technical knowledge to improve internal procedures and processes.
• Manage the design, implementation, and sustainment of Linux/Unix and containerization technologies.

What we're looking for

• Must be a U.S. citizen.
• Must possess an active DoD Secret clearance.
• Bachelor's degree with experience, Master's with , PhD with , or relevant experience.
• Advanced and in-depth technical knowledge of Red Hat and/or other Linux operating systems.
• Experience utilizing and working with Splunk.
• Knowledge of STIGs and STIG implementation plus DNS (specifically Linux BIND).
• Scripting and programming experience in Bash, Shell, Ansible, or Python.
• Experience with imaging, backup software, containers, virtualization platforms, and networking systems (preferred).
