Vice President, Compliance - Technology Operational Risk Management

What you'll do

• Perform independent risk assessments of software planning, writing, testing, and release controls using data-first approaches.
• Challenge first-line controls regarding artificial intelligence coding assistants, authorship attribution, and audit trails.
• Evaluate access controls and entitlements for development tooling and autonomous agents.
• Assess engineering telemetry to detect data loss, misuse, and unexpected agent behavior.
• Use Python and SQL to analyze engineering data sets and build risk visibility dashboards for senior management.
• Define and test statistical hypotheses to identify thematic risks in software delivery.
• Develop and maintain the annual oversight plan and report independent views to regulators and senior management.
• Monitor first-line remediation of control findings to ensure timely closure.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Security, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 5-10 years of experience in technology risk, technology audit, software engineering, or application security within financial services.
• Hands-on software development experience in Python.
• Experience querying and analyzing data in SQL.
• Hands-on experience with the software delivery toolchain, including source control, CI/CD pipelines, and automated testing.
• Experience assessing or testing technology controls such as change management, access management, or secure software development.
