As a Compliance - Technology and Cybersecurity Operational Risk Management Lead - Vice President within the Conduct, Compliance, and Operational Risk team, you will provide independent oversight of technology and cybersecurity operational risk management practices for the Consumer and Community Banking line of business. You will perform risk assessments and control evaluations while collaborating with internal technical and business teams to manage identified risks using the firm's framework. Your daily work involves developing data-driven approaches utilizing agentic AI, advanced analytics, scenario analysis, and threat modeling to identify risks and monitor performance through KPIs and KRIs. The role requires expertise in infrastructure and application architecture, data governance, and AI/ML tools. You will navigate complex technical systems to address regulatory developments and manage a book of work while communicating findings to senior audiences regarding technology and cybersecurity risk.

What you'll do

Perform independent risk assessments on technology, data, and cybersecurity for Consumer and Community Banking.
Manage identified risks using the firm’s established Operational Risk Management Framework.
Assess emerging risks through strategic business reviews and analysis of regulatory and market developments.
Develop and assess KPIs and KRIs to monitor specific operational risks effectively.
Advise internal teams on thematic control deficiencies and risk management observations.
Utilize agentic AI, scenario analysis, and threat modeling for automated risk investigation and monitoring.
Manage a portfolio of assessments and provide regular status updates to leadership.

What we're looking for

Experience with infrastructure or application architecture.
Experience in a senior technology or cybersecurity role.
Experience in a data architecture or data governance role.
Strong technical background in data-related technologies and complex systems.
Experience with AI/ML tools, platforms, and understanding of AI governance and ethics.
Knowledge of second line risk management practices for operational risk and compliance.
Ability to communicate effectively between business and technical stakeholders.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills to present findings to a senior audience.
