As a Compliance, Conduct and Operational Risk (CCOR), Resiliency - Vice President, you will join the Compliance and Operational Risk team to oversee the design, implementation, and management of risk frameworks that ensure the ability to respond to disruptive events. You will manage resiliency risks including technology, cyber, and third-party risks while collaborating with business, control, and technology stakeholders across the APAC region. Your daily work involves evaluating control effectiveness, performing scenario analysis, conducting recovery drills, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards like Basel, NIST, and ISO 22301. You will utilize knowledge of chaos engineering, microservices resiliency patterns, and cloud-native architectures to mitigate risks. The role requires expertise in disaster recovery, high availability, and Python for data analysis to address complex technology issues within a regulated financial services environment.
Manage the identification, assessment, and mitigation of technology, cyber, and third-party risks across APAC regions.
Oversee the design, execution, and evaluation of controls to mitigate operational resiliency risks.
Provide subject matter expertise for technology resiliency testing, including scenario analysis and recovery drills.
Monitor control effectiveness to identify gaps and recommend necessary enhancements to risk management frameworks.
Design and propose data-driven resiliency risk scenarios to support proactive risk management.
Maintain awareness of regulatory changes and industry best practices to inform internal risk assessments.
Support responses to regulatory exams, inquiries, and internal audits regarding compliance standards.
Integrate resiliency controls into the software development life cycle and enterprise architecture processes.
What we're looking for
Bachelor’s degree in Information Security, Computer Science, or a related field.
Minimum 8 years of experience in technology risk, cyber resilience, third-party risk management, or business continuity planning within financial services or regulated industries with APAC exposure.
Strong knowledge of technology risk management frameworks and regulatory requirements including Basel, NIST, ISO 22301, and APAC-specific regulations.
Experience in control design, testing, risk assessment, and issue management for technology and business resiliency.
Expertise in modern technology resiliency frameworks, including chaos engineering and microservices resiliency patterns.
Experience integrating resiliency controls into SDLC, enterprise architecture, and technology change management processes.
In-depth understanding of fault tolerance, disaster recovery, and high availability for applications and infrastructure.
Knowledge of Python and automation tools for analyzing large datasets (preferred); professional certifications such as ISO 22301, MBCI, CISM, or CRISC (preferred).
