As a Lead Cybersecurity Architect within the Cybersecurity Technology & Controls team, you will serve as a core technical contributor developing high-quality cybersecurity solutions for software applications on modern cloud-based technologies. You will manage Security Design Reviews, govern secure reference architectures, and define requirements for authentication, encryption, and data classification. The role requires expertise in programming languages, cloud security, and securing MCP-enabled workflows. You will address complex technical challenges such as prompt injection, data leakage, and supply chain threats within the financial services industry.

What you'll do

Propose technical approaches to business stakeholders to meet current and future cybersecurity needs.
Define and drive the technical target state for cybersecurity products and strategies.
Develop software and use AI/ML tools to automate secure design and threat assessment processes.
Lead Security Design Reviews (SDRs) for AI/ML platforms, agentic systems, and MCP integrations.
Define and govern secure reference architectures including isolation, encryption, and identity management.
Establish security requirements for authentication, authorization, and data classification for agentic workflows.
Conduct threat modeling to mitigate risks like prompt injection and data leakage in LLM suites.
Evaluate emerging technologies to recommend optimal solutions for future state architecture.

What we're looking for

Obtain 5+ years of cybersecurity architectural knowledge with hands-on experience delivering enterprise-level solutions.
Advanced proficiency in one or more programming languages.
Hands-on experience using AI/ML and agents to improve security assessments and develop innovative prototypes.
Proven expertise in threat modeling and mitigating risks like prompt injection, data leakage, and supply chain threats.
Strong technical depth in cloud and application security including IAM, encryption, network segmentation, and secure SDLC/CI/CD.
Experience securing agentic AI systems and tool integrations with specific focus on MCP-based connectivity.
In-depth knowledge of the financial services industry and experience communicating with senior leaders.
Ability to evaluate emerging technologies to recommend solutions for future state architecture.
