Common Criteria Product Tester

What you'll do

• Interpret IT product security standards to determine the compliance of product designs based on documentation and technical interviews.
• Devise, execute, and document security functional testing to justify how products comply with established security standards.
• Conduct vulnerability research to determine if known vulnerabilities are mitigated by specific configurations and patch levels.
• Provide troubleshooting recommendations and guidance when products fail to meet security requirements or tests cannot be executed.
• Produce technical documentation describing how IT products conform to security requirements and provide user instructions for secure configurations.
• Justify the accuracy and sufficiency of test results to third-party quality reviewers.
• Maintain laboratory infrastructure, including physical setup, server administration, backups, and patching.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent is required.
• Candidates must have 4+ years of related experience.
• Experience with general IT security products, including routers, firewalls, and operating systems, is required.
• Knowledge of network, transport, and application layer communications and security (e.g., TCP/IP, TLS, IPsec) is required.
• Working knowledge of applied cryptography, including X.509, PKI, and post-quantum standards, is required.
• Experience with software development lifecycle methods and tools like JIRA or GitLab is required.
• Strong customer-facing oral and written communication skills are required.
• Preferred qualifications include Common Criteria experience, technical certifications (e.g., CISSP), and scripting knowledge.
