What you'll do

Implement, manage, and monitor security controls and tools to protect enterprise systems and networks.
Automate repetitive operational tasks to improve efficiency across the security infrastructure.
Design, configure, and troubleshoot security technologies including firewalls, endpoint protection, and SIEM platforms.
Respond to cyber security incidents such as network breaches and malware attacks while leading remediation efforts.
Conduct routine vulnerability scanning and assessment activities while tracking technical teams' progress toward resolution.
Participate in change management processes to ensure system updates maintain compliance and do not introduce vulnerabilities.
Serve as the primary technical escalation point for complex, cross-domain security issues.
Provide hands-on technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers during collaborative troubleshooting.

What we're looking for

Must possess an active TS/SCI security clearance with a polygraph.
Requires a Master's degree or equivalent years of experience in lieu of a degree.
Requires 15 or more years of prior relevant experience.
Experience implementing and managing SIEM tools such as Splunk or similar platforms.
Experience working with endpoint and network security technologies including IDS/IPS and HBSS/Trellix.
Must be an expert in automation tools such as Ansible and CloudFormation.
Demonstrated history of hands-on engineering, troubleshooting, and maintaining security technologies in production environments.
Ability to provide technical leadership while performing significant direct engineering work.
