Collateral Technology Platform Lead – Managing Director will lead a globally distributed engineering organization responsible for the Collateral Technology platforms. This executive role oversees end-to-end technology outcomes, including architecture, quality assurance, release management, and production support for mission-critical legacy applications and emerging cloud-native solutions. The leader will drive platform stability, operational resilience, and modernization initiatives while managing risk and ensuring compliance in a highly regulated environment. Key responsibilities include fostering high-performing teams, implementing AI-assisted engineering practices, and overseeing large-scale transaction processing. The technical landscape includes Java, Oracle, C++, Azure, Databricks, microservices, APIs, and event-driven architectures. 15+ years of progressive technology leadership experience in asset management, capital markets, banking, or other highly regulated financial institutions.
Proven success leading large-scale, mission-critical technology platforms with demanding client, operational, and regulatory requirements.
Experience managing both legacy technology environments and modern cloud-native architectures.
Hands-on understanding of Java, Oracle, Databricks, C/C++, and large-scale transaction or batch processing systems.
Experience leading modernization and cloud transformation initiatives using Azure, AWS, APIs, microservices, automation, and DevOps practices.
Expertise in engineering delivery, production support, service management, change governance, and risk management.
Experience leading geographically distributed organizations across onshore, offshore, and vendor delivery models.
Experience supporting institutional investment managers with complex operations or capital markets functions (preferred).
