What you'll do

  • Define and execute the multi-year technology strategy and roadmap for business-critical capabilities.
  • Lead a global organization encompassing software engineering, architecture, cloud, DevOps, and production support.
  • Drive application modernization, cloud transformation, automation, and platform simplification initiatives.
  • Establish and govern engineering standards, including DevSecOps, CI/CD, and AI-assisted development tools.
  • Ensure platform availability, resilience, disaster recovery readiness, and performance management.
  • Remediate technology risks, vulnerabilities, audit findings, and regulatory compliance gaps.
  • Manage strategic vendors and delivery partners regarding performance, risk, and financial outcomes.
  • Develop senior technology leaders and foster a culture of accountability and innovation.

What we're looking for

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Mathematics, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • 20+ years of progressive technology leadership experience with responsibility for large-scale engineering organizations and business-critical platforms.
  • Experience managing global teams and complex technology portfolios within financial services or other highly regulated industries.
  • Experience with investment servicing, asset management, fund accounting, or investment operations (preferred).
  • Proven success delivering enterprise application modernization, cloud transformation, and platform rationalization initiatives.
  • Strong knowledge of cloud platforms, microservices, APIs, event-driven architecture, and modern web technologies.
  • Experience with Agile delivery, DevOps, automated testing, software quality, and production support.
  • Working knowledge of regulatory, audit, cybersecurity, information security, data governance, and operational risk requirements for financial institutions.
