The Cloud Solution Architect joins the Unified Delivery Team to act as the voice of the customer by translating complex problems into industry solutions. You will design and deliver well-architected, secure, resilient, and AI-enabled solutions while guiding customers through digital transformations and operational readiness. Day-to-day responsibilities include managing technical risks, identifying expansion opportunities, and collaborating with technical and business decision makers to achieve ROI. You will utilize Microsoft architectures, Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, and Teams to build scalable models. The role requires deep expertise in cloud infrastructure, systems administration, and network operations to solve business and information technology requirements. You will also lead virtual teams, mentor colleagues on technical readiness, and contribute to intellectual property development to enhance product roadmaps and customer success.
Translate customer problems into industry solutions aligned with Microsoft product and platform strategies.
Deliver technical solutions and training to prepare customers for operational readiness and business goals.
Identify and capture new opportunities for cloud consumption, usage, and unified expansion at scale.
Manage business and technical risks by applying governance principles and following proven practice standards.
Build relationships with technical and business decision makers to bridge security, compliance, and operational requirements.
Act as the voice of the customer by sharing feedback and strategic insights with Engineering and Product teams.
Mentor team members on technical readiness and lead up-skilling activities across the organization.
Identify and mitigate blockers to accelerate solution deployment and value realization for customers.
What we're looking for
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, Liberal Arts, or related field.
4+ years experience in cloud/infrastructure technologies, IT consulting, systems administration, network operations, software development, or architecture.
U.S. citizenship is required due to legal restrictions regarding government agency support.
Must pass a Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire and every two years thereafter.
8+ years experience in cloud/infrastructure technologies, IT consulting, or architecture (preferred).
Master's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or Liberal Arts (preferred).
4+ years experience in a customer-facing role (preferred).
4+ years experience working on technical projects (preferred).
Technical Certification in Cloud, such as Azure, AWS, or Google (preferred).
Proficiency in Microsoft Exchange, Exchange Online, SharePoint, SharePoint Online, and Teams (preferred).
