Cloud Operations System Administrator

What you'll do

• Manage and operate scalable, secure, and highly available cloud infrastructure for the GDSS program.
• Oversee cloud operations including monitoring, incident response, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis.
• Coordinate with DevOps to implement automation solutions using Infrastructure as Code and configuration management tools.
• Perform routine patching and maintenance of cloud infrastructure components.
• Manage cloud resource provisioning, cost optimization, and capacity planning.
• Establish and enforce operational best practices, policies, and standards for cloud environments.
• Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance on cloud operations.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of cloud architecture, procedures, and incident reports.

What we're looking for

• Ability to obtain a U.S. Secret Clearance.
• Must be a "U.S. Person" as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.62 for export control compliance.
• 3+ years of experience supporting Global Decision Support System (GDSS) operations.
• CompTIA Sec+ certification (preferred).
• U.S. Citizen, U.S. National, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.
