Cloud Ops Engineer

What you'll do

• Lead the operation, maintenance, monitoring, and security of mission-critical cloud infrastructure in DoD IL5 and IL6 environments.
• Provide technical oversight for incident resolution, system administration, and vulnerability remediation.
• Manage configuration management, infrastructure performance, and compliance activities for cloud applications.
• Establish operating standards, document best practices, and provide hands-on guidance to cloud operations personnel.
• Support RMF and ATO requirements to ensure secure and reliable production environments.
• Identify and address operational risks in collaboration with cybersecurity and architecture teams.
• Monitor and troubleshoot critical infrastructure components within AWS or Azure platforms.

What we're looking for

• 8+ years of experience designing, deploying, and managing cloud environments, including DoD IL5 and IL6 AWS or Azure environments.
• 8+ years of experience administering Windows or Linux operating systems.
• Experience leading operations personnel responsible for existing cloud or on-premises production systems.
• Experience leading the architecture, build, and deployment of systems and applications within cloud platforms.
• Experience monitoring, maintaining, securing, and troubleshooting critical infrastructure components.
• Experience mentoring cloud or infrastructure engineers and establishing operational standards and best practices.
• Knowledge of foundational system administration principles and DoD accreditation, RMF, and ATO processes.
• Bachelor’s degree.
