Cloud Network Engineer - CTJ - Poly joins a fast-paced team responsible for designing, building, automating, and operating mission-critical network infrastructure. This role involves developing and maintaining automation solutions for deployment, monitoring, and operational workflows while managing the full service lifecycle including architecture, incident response, and continuous improvement. The engineer will design and operate Layer 2 and Layer 3 networking technologies such as BGP, VXLAN/EVPN, VRFs, and network segmentation to support Azure workloads in highly secure, regulated environments. Key technical skills include proficiency in routing, switching, fiber infrastructure, telemetry, and APIs. What we're looking for
A Bachelor's degree plus 2 years of experience, a Master's degree plus 1 year of experience, or equivalent experience in network design, development, and automation is required.
Candidates must have an active U.S. Government Top Secret Clearance with access to Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) based on a Single Scope Background Investigation (SSBI) with Polygraph.
Verification of U.S. citizenship is required due to legal restrictions for supporting government agency customers.
Experience designing, deploying, and operating enterprise or campus wired networks is preferred.
Experience with Layer 2/Layer 3 networking fundamentals including VLANs, spanning tree, BGP, QoS, and network security is preferred.
Hands-on experience configuring and troubleshooting enterprise switching platforms via CLI is preferred.
Experience supporting live-site production operations, including incident troubleshooting and root cause analysis, is preferred.
Advanced networking or cloud certifications such as CCNP, CCIE, or equivalent are preferred.
