As a Cloud Network Engineer II, you will join the engineering team to design, review, and implement secure network architectures, infrastructure code, and security controls while identifying risks before production deployment. You will build telemetry, monitoring, and analytics solutions to detect service anomalies and automate network deployment and validation processes to reduce human error. Your daily work involves establishing secure connectivity between Azure Secure Datacenters for resilient hybrid services and managing enterprise-scale network and storage infrastructure. The role requires expertise in Infrastructure as Code using Ansible, scripting languages like Python or PowerShell, and networking protocols including BGP, OSPF, MPLS, and IPsec. You will also manage load balancing solutions such as F5 BIG-IP LTM and Azure Load Balancer while troubleshooting across the OSI model to solve complex problems within private cloud environments.

What we're looking for
Master's degree with 1+ years of experience, Bachelor's degree with 2+ years of experience, or a Doctoral degree in a relevant engineering or IT field.
Equivalent practical experience in network design, development, and automation is acceptable.
Experience designing and implementing enterprise network architectures for hybrid cloud and on-premises environments.
Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) methodologies using Ansible and other automation frameworks.
Strong understanding of IP networking fundamentals including BGP, OSPF, MPLS, TCP/IP, UDP, IPsec, MACsec, HTTP, and HTTPS.
Expertise in troubleshooting across the OSI model, including Layer 2/3 switching and routing and Layer 7 application firewalls.
Experience with load balancing solutions such as F5 BIG-IP LTM and Azure Load Balancer (HLB).
Proficiency in scripting and programming languages including PowerShell, Python, Perl, C#, or YAML.
