What you'll do

Deploy, integrate, and manage private, public, and hybrid cloud platform services for enterprise-scale analytical applications.
Develop infrastructure as code using scripts, templates, blueprints, and CI/CD orchestration tools.
Provision safe and scalable environments while protecting data assets through robust networking and security protocols.
Establish standards for sizing, building, and monitoring fault-tolerant, 24/7 application infrastructure.
Manage and troubleshoot cloud computing systems to ensure high levels of scalability and performance.
Perform alert management and root cause analysis using monitoring stacks like Dynatrace, Prometheus, and Grafana.
Provide mentorship and guidance to junior engineers to support team training and up-skilling.

What we're looking for

Bachelor's degree or equivalent formal training in computer science, engineering, or information systems.
Five to seven years of experience in cloud engineering or a related field.
Experience providing leadership in general planning, consulting settings, or as a senior member of multi-function project teams.
Proficiency with Terraform, Yaml configurations, Shell scripting, and Kubernetes.
Experience with GCP or other major cloud platforms, including Confluent Cloud administration.
Experience with programming languages such as Java or Python.
Proficiency in automation and scripting using PowerShell and Bash.
Experience with monitoring stacks (Dynatrace, Prometheus, Grafana) and CI/CD pipelines via GitHub Actions.
