Cloud Engineering Advisor

What you'll do

• Design and implement GCP landing zones including organization structure, billing, and security guardrails.
• Build automated infrastructure modules for networking, compute, storage, databases, and IAM using Terraform.
• Lead the design of network and hybrid connectivity solutions like Shared VPC, Interconnect, and VPN.
• Migrate compute, container, and data workloads from Azure to Google Cloud Platform.
• Implement security controls including Identity Federation, VPC Service Controls, and Secret Management.
• Build CI/CD and GitOps pipelines using Cloud Build or GitHub Actions with policy-as-code integration.
• Establish observability and SRE practices including monitoring, logging, and incident runbooks.
• Define cost governance and FinOps practices to manage budgets and detect spending anomalies.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in computer science, engineering, or information systems.
• 5 to 7 years of experience in cloud engineering or a related field.
• Proficiency in Terraform, Yaml configurations, Shell scripting, and Kubernetes.
• Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) at scale (preferred).
• Experience delivering at least one end-to-end Azure-to-GCP migration (preferred).
• Google Professional Cloud Architect certification (required); other professional GCP certifications are strongly preferred.
• Knowledge of Java, Python, Databricks, or Azure services such as Event Hubs, ADF, ADLS, and Synapse (preferred).
• Experience with GKE, service meshes, Anthos, or enterprise identity federation (preferred).
