As a Cloud Engineer, you will manage, administer, and enhance cloud environments while providing rapid problem resolution as part of the operations team. You will develop innovative solutions to complex problems, mentor team members, and work independently to support AWS infrastructure and integrated Army systems within the cloud. Your daily responsibilities include troubleshooting CI/CD pipeline failures, provisioning resources for networking, storage, memory, and compute instances, and building enterprise cloud-native solutions. The role requires proficiency with technologies including Kubernetes, Helm, Docker, CloudFormation, GitHub, GitLab, and Linux. You will utilize your expertise in DevSecOps processes to automate builds across multiple technical stacks. To succeed, you must possess a Secret clearance and demonstrate skills in cloud networking and infrastructure management while navigating the complexities of public cloud environments and integrated military systems.
Manage and enhance cloud environments within AWS infrastructure and integrated systems.
Troubleshoot, triage, and resolve issues related to CI/CD pipeline failures or performance.
Provision and manage cloud instance networking, computing, memory, and storage resources.
Develop enterprise cloud-native solutions using tools like Kubernetes, Helm, and Docker.
Automate builds and deployments across multiple technical stacks and environments.
Mentor and supervise team members while working independently to solve complex problems.
Implement DevSecOps processes to ensure secure and automated deployment workflows.
What we're looking for
Must possess an active Secret security clearance.
Must have 2+ years of experience with cloud infrastructure including AWS, networking, storage, and DevOps tools like Kubernetes, Helm, and Docker.
Must have 2+ years of experience troubleshooting and resolving CI/CD pipeline failures or slowness.
Must hold a CompTIA Security+, GSEC, CCNA-Security, SSCP, CISSP, or DoD IAT Level II or III certification.
Must have a Bachelor's degree in CS, Computer Engineering, Information Systems Management, or System Administration and 2+ years of experience in DevOps.
May substitute the required degree with 5+ years of experience in DevOps.
Experience developing enterprise cloud-native solutions is required.
Knowledge of provisioning and triaging issues for cloud instance networking, computing, memory, and storage is required.
