As a Cloud Engineer, you will manage, administer, and enhance cloud environments while providing rapid problem resolution as part of the operations team. You will develop innovative solutions to complex problems, mentor team members, and work independently to support AWS infrastructure and integrated systems within the Army's cloud environment. Your daily responsibilities include troubleshooting CI/CD pipeline failures, provisioning resources for networking, storage, memory, and compute instances, and building enterprise cloud-native solutions. The role requires proficiency with tools such as Kubernetes, Helm, Docker, CloudFormation, GitHub, and GitLab. You will utilize skills in DevSecOps processes, Linux, and automated builds to ensure continuous automation across multiple technical stacks. This position focuses on resolving infrastructure issues within public cloud environments while maintaining a Secret clearance to support critical government-related systems and integrated military technology platforms.
Manage and support AWS cloud infrastructure and integrated systems.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to CI/CD pipeline failures or performance.
Provision and triage networking, storage, memory, and compute resources for cloud instances.
Develop enterprise cloud-native solutions using tools like Kubernetes, Helm, and Docker.
Automate builds and deployments across multiple technical stacks.
Mentor and supervise team members while working independently to solve complex problems.
Implement DevSecOps processes to ensure secure and efficient cloud operations.
What we're looking for
Must possess an active Secret security clearance.
Must have 2+ years of experience with cloud infrastructure including AWS, networking, storage, and DevOps tools like Kubernetes, Helm, and Docker.
Must have 2+ years of experience troubleshooting and resolving CI/CD pipeline failures or slowness.
Must hold a CompTIA Security+, GSEC, CCNA-Security, SSCP, CISSP, or DoD IAT Level II or III certification.
Must have a Bachelor's degree in CS, Computer Engineering, Information Systems Management, or System Administration and 2+ years of experience in DevOps.
Alternatively, must have 5+ years of experience in DevOps in lieu of a degree.
Must have experience developing enterprise cloud-native solutions.
Must possess knowledge of provisioning and triaging issues for cloud instance networking, computing, memory, and storage.
