What you'll do

  • Design performance verification lab use cases and test cases to identify potential UE performance issues.
  • Develop test scripts over lab network emulators to implement performance tests or reproduce specific issues.
  • Troubleshoot performance-related issues in collaboration with system engineers, firmware developers, and integration teams.
  • Analyze and debug complex cellular device performance issues to provide solutions for firmware and systems design teams.
  • Guide test executors during the validation of new and existing features.
  • Ensure overall UE performance meets established expectations through rigorous testing and evaluation.

What we're looking for

  • Bachelor's degree required, with a Ph.D. in wireless communication or electrical engineering preferred.
  • Minimum of 10 years of relevant industry experience.
  • At least 5 years of experience in 4G/5G development, system engineering, or device performance verification.
  • Advanced knowledge of 4G/5G physical layer, protocol stack, and procedures.
  • Experience investigating and troubleshooting cellular device performance issues.
  • Proficiency in scripting or programming languages such as Python, C/C++, and Java.
  • Knowledge of 4G/5G signaling and physical layer test equipment from vendors like Keysight, Anritsu, or R&S.
  • Strong understanding of software engineering principles and core computer science fundamentals.
