Your daily tasks include implementing cellular physical layer algorithms on digital/vector signal processors with strict constraints and interfacing with specialized ASIC hardware to execute 3GPP channels and procedures such as PDCCH, PDSCH, PBCH, PUCCH, PUSCH, PRACH UL/DL HARQ. You will work closely with systems engineers to optimize firmware architecture for efficiency, analyze fixed-point firmware for bit-exactness, and develop pre-silicon emulation systems for verification. The ideal candidate has experience in digital signal processing on special-purpose hardware, a deep understanding of software engineering principles, and familiarity with 3GPP standards and memory-constrained RTOS environments.
