Senior Analytics Engineer, AI & DX Analytics

What you'll do

• Instrument and extend raw telemetry for AI usage, code changes, and CI/CD activity at the source.
• Build production ETL pipelines to transform raw data into governed tables with monitoring and alerting.
• Define new metrics from ambiguous signals and validate them to ensure stakeholder trust.
• Create executive-facing dashboards and visualizations that translate complex technical findings into actionable narratives.
• Perform analysis to identify where AI spend is underperforming or where developer friction is high.
• Use AI coding agents as a primary tool for writing, testing, and maintaining data pipelines and reports.
• Partner with engineering and data science teams to ensure telemetry remains connected across the entire pipeline.

What we're looking for

• 8+ years of experience in analytics engineering, data engineering, or business intelligence.
• Experience building production data pipelines and insights end-to-end rather than just writing ad hoc queries.
• Background in developer experience, engineering productivity, measuring AI effectiveness, or platform analytics.
• Proficiency in SQL and Python with experience operating data pipelines on a cloud warehouse like Snowflake.
• Experience partnering with engineering teams to define and instrument new event or telemetry data.
• Experience building executive-facing dashboards and tools for non-technical stakeholders.
• Proficiency with Git, CI/CD systems, and debugging production pipeline failures.
• Ability to use AI coding agents as a primary tool for writing and maintaining code.
• Strong communication skills to present technical findings and polished materials to senior leadership.
• Experience with metrics-governance or semantic-layer systems like dbt or LookML (preferred).
