Analytics Engineer, Data Science

What you'll do

• Translate business requirements from stakeholders into technical data requirements and structured solutions.
• Build and maintain high-volume, reliable ETL/ELT pipelines using data lake and warehousing concepts.
• Develop canonical datasets to ensure data reliability and scalability across the organization.
• Design metrics and interactive data visualizations using tools like Tableau, Sigma, or Mode.
• Implement automated data quality checks to validate integrity and ensure consistent reporting.
• Standardize data models to improve reusability, readability, and cross-functional accessibility.
• Perform SQL performance tuning and manage complex data transformations in a production environment.

What we're looking for

• A degree in Math, Physics, Statistics, Economics, Computer Science, or a similar domain is required.
• Candidates must have 2 to 6+ years of experience in business intelligence, analytics engineering, data engineering, or a similar role.
• Strong proficiency in SQL for data transformation is required.
• Proficiency in at least one functional or object-oriented programming language such as Python or Scala is required.
• Experience creating reporting and data visualization solutions using tools like Looker, Tableau, or Sigma is required.
• Familiarity with database fundamentals including S3, Trino, Hive, and Spark is required.
• Experience with SQL performance tuning and writing data quality checks using tools like Pydeequ or Great Expectations is required.
• Strong communication skills for collaborating with both technical and non-technical teams are required.
